Editorial of Revista Saberes Universitários

Abstract

This issue of Revista Saberes Universitários (v. 2, n. 2, Sep./2017) presents a diversified collection consisting of three articles, two experience reports, an interview, and a book review. In the articles section, the first study examines the socio-environmental strategies of the Municipal Council for Environmental Protection of Pelotas/RS (COMPAM) aimed at urban development. The second article characterizes the academic-professional profile of graduates from POLEDUC/UFC, indicating that the majority did not pursue an academic career. The third analyzes information and knowledge management within a public higher education institution, suggesting improvements regarding databases and knowledge sharing. Regarding the experience reports, both tied to UNICAMP, the first addresses first-aid training within the Division of Early Childhood and Complementary Education , while the second highlights the visibility of a Handicraft Workshop developed under the PRODECAD program. Finally, the edition features an interview with Rosemeire Desidério regarding the profession of a LIBRAS (Brazilian Sign Language) interpreter and a technical review of the book "Sabor Maboque" by Dulce Braga.
