Marx in New York DailyTribune: presentation

Abstract

In this volume commemorating its 50th publication, Crítica Marxista brings to the Brazilian readership two more writings by Karl Marx that were previously unpublished in Portuguese. These are the articles: “Parliamentary debates – the clergy and the struggle for the ten-hour day – hunger” and “Forced emigration”, both published in the American New York Daily Tribune, in 1853.
