Abstract

In Black Feminist Thought, Collins draws from the experiences of oppression and resistance of black women in the US multifaceted intellectual expressions that, although specific and heterogeneous, share a coherence in terms of thematic content, interpretative references, epistemological approaches and importance for political organization. Thus, the author distinguishes and systematizes, as a specific critical theoretical field, black feminist thought.
