Abstract

One hundred years after the brutal murder of Rosa Luxemburg, not only did her figure as a bold and insubmissive woman return strongly to the political scene, an icon of young feminists fighting against all types of oppression, but her work has been more studied in Brazil. A recent example is the book by Rosa Rosa Gomes, which, in a patient work of reconstructing the economic ideas of the Polish Jewish revolutionary, shows how she can still contribute to the recomposition of the socialist left, paralyzed and without direction.
