Presentation of “Thesis for dialectics as a method of exposition (in Marx’s ‘Capital’)”

Abstract

The article by Hans Friedrich Fulda, whose translation Crítica Marxista publishes in this issue, was originally published in the Hegelian Yearbook (Hegel Jahrbuch) of 1974. This article forms, together with “Zur Dialektik der Wertform” by Hans--Georg Backhaus, with “Krise der Macht” by Michael Theunissen and “On the logical structure of the concept of capital in Karl Marx” by Helmut Reichelt, the latter book published in Portuguese by Editora da Unicamp in 2013, the foundations of an important Marxist trend in Germany, called “New reading of Marx”. Unlike the other texts indicated, the one written by Fulda is quite condensed and synthetic, but some of its fundamental features can be easily perceived.
