Abstract

The questions raised and worked on by Lukács in the essays in this book have great relevance in the new 21st century, which is no longer so new and so saturated with history, whether because it aged prematurely, by perpetuating old and damaging problems, or because the problems, until very recently thought to have disappeared, they reappear with new and promising strength.
