Abstract

This book is a work of sociological understanding about gender and work relations in Brazil and France. The collection is made up of 21 texts that deal with different dimensions of women's work, based – primarily – on an intersectional perspective, as the subtitle already points out. In other words, in this book there is a theoretical common ground that understands that gender relations must be analyzed in light of other intersections present in the social universe, such as the dimensions of class and race.
