Abstract

The main research themes of Michel Cahen, a specialist in the political evolution of contemporary Portuguese-speaking Africa, concern the Portuguese administration in Mozambique (state apparatus, colonial corporatism, religious policy, forced labor) and the myths and ideologies of the wars of liberation.
