The place of politics in the Marxist theory of history

Abstract

The general objective of this text is to resume the discussion on the Marxist theory of history and the transition to socialism, a discussion that, unfortunately, has been generally forgotten by a large number of Marxist intellectuals. Our specific objective will be to present a reflection on the place of politics in the theory of history, recovering part of the debate surrounding the subject in the 1960s and 1970s.
