Abstract

Born in 1941, in Italy, Domenico Losurdo is the author of numerous works dedicated to the study of Kant, Hegel, Nietzsche and Heidegger. Already known in Brazil for his lectures and visits to the country, he had some of his works translated into Portuguese. Domenico Losurdo's latest book is an invitation to current times. It could be said that Antonio Gramsci's critical thinking is current. This does not mean that the author loses the historicity of the path of a thought that oscillated from radical liberalism to critical communism. The text has a direct tone arising from the fact that it is a compilation of classes given by the author at the Italian Institute for Philosophical Studies.
