Rosa Luxemburg or the price of freedom

Abstract

This small book contains an essay on the work and activism of Rosa Luxemburg; in the second part, texts by (and about) the Polish Marxist are published. Although he tries not to give in to RL's exaltation, Jörn Schütrumpf's essay reveals an enthusiastic sympathy for this “little great woman”. Thus, in these times of skepticism, the book – by highlighting the “optimism of will” expressed by the life of the socialist – never fails to encourage the reader to learn about or resume the debate on the ideas and radical political trajectory of Rosa Luxemburg.
