Abstract
There has never been a period of harmony or non-violence in the history of capitalism. The first decades following World War II - the so-called "thirty glorious" - are retrospectively painted as paradise lost. However, weren't they the scene of colonialism and wars of independence, the supposedly cold war and the incendiary conflicts they aroused in Korea or Vietnam?
