Lula government: a riddle to decipher

Abstract

"Decipher me or I'll devour you." The Brazilian left is faced with an intricate enigma. Like other dramatic historical experiences, such as those of the João Goulart and Salvador Allende governments, they need to carefully calibrate their analyzes so as not to underestimate the adverse correlation of forces, nor to err in characterizing the nature of the Lula government.
