Abstract

Bringing in the title the famous optical metaphor that opens The German Ideology, Ranieri's book focuses on crucial writings in the genesis of Marxian ideas, seeking to retrace the path that, from the idealist critique of Hegelian dialectics, leads to an original anthropological and historical conception.
