Abstract

From the 1980s onwards, the so-called “gender studies” revolutionized the entire conceptual field in which the issue of feminism was situated. The very concept of “feminine” – or “femininity” – underwent a radical revision, particularly in order to overcome and eradicate the “biological-sexual” references that involved feminist themes.
