Neoliberalism and nazifascism

Abstract

Under neoliberalism, the conditions and ingredients of Nazi fascism are recreated. Despite presenting themselves as guardians and heralds of democracy, they affirm and reaffirm the dominance of the economy, productivity, competitiveness, profitability and instrumental rationality. They identify credit cards and consumerism with citizenship, concentration of capital with progress, multiplication of corporations with cosmopolitanism, deterritorialization of productive forces with westernization of the world, global Disneyland with the end of history. The predominance of the logic of capital in practically all spheres of social life is evident.
