Against neoliberalism but in what way?

Abstract

Since the Zapatistas named Pandora's Box from which so much suffering that affects humanity on a global scale originates, this name was heard consciously by many for the first time: neoliberalism. When the Zapatistas called for “an intergalactic meeting against neoliberalism and for humanity” and tasked the Berlin “Group-Chiapas” with holding the European preparatory meeting, the members of this group were astonished and even surprised by this name that meant nothing to them neoliberalism. In retrospect, this astonishment has a doubly surprising effect.
