Abstract
What meaning does Marx, and when is it the case, give to the term "political"? What status does he (they) give to the "political"? A reading of the texts from 1843 (Critique of Hegel's Philosophy of Right) to 1848 (Manifesto of the Communist Party, Marx and Engels), and from 1849 to 1871 (Civil War in France, Message of the General Council of the International Workingmen's Association, Marx) shows that the meaning of the term "political" is not univocal, just as the status granted to the political and, therefore, the judgment attributed to it is not simple.
