Abstract

This note, with a somewhat pretentious name, has, however, the limited intention of remembering the importance of the Russian Revolution in the direction of the labor movement and the origin of Marxism in Brazil, summarily tracing the trajectory of Astrojildo Pereira in the period that emanates from the beginning of the revolution in Russia until the founding of the communist party in Brazil. It is known that this period coincides with the heyday and crisis of the anarcho-syndicalist-inspired labor movement in Brazilian lands and that the journalist Astrojildo Pereira was a prominent expression of libertarian culture in the 1910s...
