Abstract

Originally published in 1848 in London, in an anonymous edition, by the Educational Society for Workers (Bildungs ​​Gesellschaft für Arbeiter) of J. C. Burghard, the Manifesto of the Communist Party (Manifest der Kommunistischen Partei) had a relatively restricted circulation with this and other editions that followed and would be practically forgotten after the definitive defeat of the movements that began in 1848.
