Abstract
Originally published in 1848 in London, in an anonymous edition, by the Educational Society for Workers (Bildungs Gesellschaft für Arbeiter) of J. C. Burghard, the Manifesto of the Communist Party (Manifest der Kommunistischen Partei) had a relatively restricted circulation with this and other editions that followed and would be practically forgotten after the definitive defeat of the movements that began in 1848.
