Abstract
Aesthetic criticism, in its various aspects, is a complex and intriguing subject, never sufficiently explored by Marxism. Within this field, it is a somewhat uneven terrain, insofar as art and literature maintain a degree of autonomy that often does not exactly correspond to structural injunctions, thus functioning, for the scholar, as a kind of unknown territory to be explored, full of traps, cracks and fissures, in short, of inadequacies.
