Abstract
In a previous edition, New left review published a basically favorable review of Jorge Castañeda's book A utopia disarmada. This review was written by James Dunkerley, from a predominantly Spanish-American perspective. Shortly after its publication, Castañeda's book was released in Brazil with a different subtitle from the original version.
