Considerations on Walter Benjamin's "Theses on the Philosophy of History"

Abstract

The objectives of this article are limited to the study of some essential aspects of Walter Benjamin's text, "On the Concept of History". I will present, in summary form, the current state of studies on the text, propose some specific approaches and, in the end, highlight its insertion in the contemporary historiographical context.
