Abstract
It seems that the most common meaning of "globalization" is that of increasing integration between countries all over the world, or at least most of it.
This notion can be used ideologically when it projects the idea that this process occurs spontaneously among the countries involved, as if they all stood on an equal footing and voluntarily participated in the integration.
