Abstract
With the end of the Cold War, international relations are going through a period of profound crisis and transformation. In essence, this is the exhaustion of the international system based on the Pax Americana and the beginning of a process of articulating a new world order, still in a phase of disorder. We are witnessing not only the replacement of hegemonic powers, but mainly the reformulation of the mechanisms of domination on the international level, making it extremely urgent to rethink world politics and its theoretical foundations.
