Abstract
In these Forças encadeadas, a volume of unpublished verses by the libertarian Octávio Brandão (1896-1980) that has just been published in Rio de Janeiro, more than the personal record of combats and battles that were not always successfully concluded, what stands out is a kind of reliquary of illusions that over the years have marked first the soul and then the work.
