Abstract
The last few years have witnessed, on the one hand, the rise of the neoliberal far right and its conservative anti-democratic policies and, on the other, the emergence of a massive feminist movement, especially with the strikes organized since 2016 in different countries in the global North and South. In Latin America, we saw the Ni una menos campaign, the “green tide” for legal abortion and the performance Un violador en tu camino flourish. In Brazil, we can remember the mobilizations against rape culture and restrictions on legal abortion, the acts of denunciation and for justice in the face of the murder of councilwoman Marielle Franco, and the demonstrations in defence of democracy and against the election of Jair Bolsonaro, the “#elenão”. These multiple forms of protest help us to reflect on feminism, its struggles and disputes. The publication of the book Kollontai 150 is both the fruit of these resistances and a tool to continue strengthening them.
