Author Guidelines

[Revista Visuais is a free access, semiannual publication of the Postgraduate Program in Visual Arts (UNICAMP) and aims to promote the debate around the production and critical of the visual arts.

The papers submitted to the publication in the Revista Visuais are evaluated by a body of independent reviewers through the double-blind review, which means that the identities of the author (s) are not revealed to the reviewers , and vice versa, throughout the review process. Poiésis does not apply the collection of any submission, publication or other fees in its processes, being a scientific vehicle aimed at the brazilian and international scientific community.

The Editors assume that the submission of the work to the publication in Revista Visuais indicates its originality, that is, that it has not yet been published in any other portuguese or spanish language journal (if applicable).]

[Authors who publish in Revista Visuais agree to the following terms:

1. The authors retain the copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License which allows the sharing of the work with acknowledgment of authorship and initial publication in this journal.
2. The authors are authorized to take additional contracts separately, for non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the work published in the Poiésis (eg publish in institutional repository or as a book chapter), with authorship recognition and initial publication in this journal.
3. The authors are allowed and encouraged to publish and distribute their work online (eg in institutional repositories or on their personal page) at any point before or during the editorial process, as this can lead to productive changes , as well as increasing the impact and citation of published work (See The Effect of Free Access)]
4. [All names and addresses informed in the Revista Visuais will be used exclusively for the services provided by this publication and will not be made available for other purposes or to third parties.]
