Abstract

The present article tries to analyze the archive as a system of potential hybridizations that allows connections between perceptions and / or sensitivities that may be a priori considered distant or disconnected. These issues are discussed from the work of art of Paulo Gaiad and the multiple interpretations suggested by its hybridizations, not only through the formal aspects of his works called “mixed technique” , but also by the artist's own discourse. The question of interpretive multiplicity in Gaiad's work will be put into a dialogue with Plato's "The Banquet," where the same issue is debated about the feeling of love.
