Abstract
"File and Consignation" tries to prove the hypothesis that the images activate new meanings in the (physical) approach to other images, losing their uniqueness in order to gain an expansive and relational sense. We are faced with the concept of "dialectical image" (Walter Benjamin) that does not embody continuity between past and present, but concentrates in itself the movement of what has been with the now, becoming the center of a gesture of remembrance. We also talk about the duality of the image, about its ability to refer to a field of meaning far from itself.
