Abstract
The work proposes a very didactic historical analysis of the constitution of forms of work and how they influenced the formation of the school. Composed of eight chapters, it is divided into two large parts. In the first, the authors analyze capitalist production and labor exploitation, while the second establishes the relationship between these processes in school education, concluding with some observations and possibilities of resistance to the commodification and Taylorist adaptation of education.
