Abstract
I took note, with great attention, of the Resolutions voted by the Central Committee in Argenteuil. They contain a number of important theoretical and practical theses. To cite just this example, the CC had the merit of adopting theses on theoretical work, on the development of Marxist research and theory, on the conditions of research and the practical measures envisaged for this purpose, on the role of intellectuals and their participation in Party work, etc. These theses, which take up and develop the declarations of the XVII Congress of the PCF, can give a certain impetus to theoretical work, the importance of which is thus recognized. However, alongside these theses, and sometimes even on the occasion of them, the Resolutions contain declarations, arguments and developments that seem to me, I cannot hide, whether dubious, adventurous, or seriously erroneous from the point of view of the principles of Marxism-Leninism.
