Abstract

Samba, culture and society, organized by Marcelo Braz, deals with themes still little explored by Brazilian Marxist criticism. In a creative approach, it condenses, from different perspectives, Marxist analyzes of the “social issue” and the “cultural issue” present in the emergence and creation process of Rio samba.
