Resumo
O artigo sugere uma interpretação de classe da Economia Política Marxista (EPM). Ele examina quatro aspectos principais da EPM: método, valor, classe e as implicações da teoria do valor para a análise de aspectos selecionados do capitalismo atual, incluindo a concorrência, a difusão internacional do capitalismo, a globalização, a teoria das crises, a análise das classes sociais e o ambiente. Esse artigo conclui que a EPM pode ser extremamente relevante, especialmente quando ela enfoca a identificação e a análise das tendências, contratendências e contingências históricas, cuja interação configura o concreto.
