Abstract
The Young Marx: The Origins of the Ontology of Social Being aims to investigate the intellectual evolution of Marx's thought, focusing in particular on his youthful work. Celso Frederico traces this trajectory, taking as a starting point the Kreusnach Manuscripts, passing through The Jewish Question and the Critique of Hegel's Philosophy of Right (Introduction), until arriving at the Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts and from there to the German Ideology, and then seeking in his mature work, and quite appropriately, it must be said, some central theses to justify his reading of this evolution.
