Abstract

Leandro Galastri begins his book with mastery, critically reflecting on the issue of so-called cultural Gramscism, a political-ideological distortion of Gramscian theory by the extreme right. By dialectically developing Gramsci's main categories, the author makes no room for reformist readings and makes a concrete analysis of the historical time in which the communist militant lived, but does not leave him ostracized. Galastri's eight essays place Gramsci side by side with the philosophy of praxis and help us translate his categories into Latin American reality.
