Abstract
We publish here an interview with César Benjamin, organizer of the book The Brazilian Option (1998), a collective work that expresses the synthesis of the theoretical positions of the Consulta Popular, an important movement that today already has thousands of militants (workers, students, leaders of popular movements ) spread throughout the country.
