Abstract

The Communist Manifesto presents and develops, albeit in summary form, two theses relating to the theory of history which, together, will continue to guide the economic and political analyses of Marx and Engels: the process of historical change is presented, in this text, as a result of the growth of productive forces and the class struggle.
