Resumo
O artigo analisa os impactos da digitalização e das tecnologias emergentes no mercado de trabalho e nas desigualdades sociais, com foco no Brasil e outros contextos internacionais. Destaca-se o crescimento do trabalho em plataformas digitais, caracterizado por autonomia aparente, flexibilidade e remuneração relativamente atrativa, mas marcado por precariedade, informalidade e ausência de proteção social. A expansão dessas formas de emprego ocorre em meio à desregulamentação trabalhista, à redução do poder sindical e à polarização de salários. O estudo evidencia que as instituições do mercado de trabalho, mais do que a tecnologia em si, determinam os efeitos sobre desigualdade e mobilidade ocupacional. Conclui-se que políticas públicas, regulação trabalhista e fortalecimento sindical são essenciais para proteger trabalhadores digitais e mitigar riscos da economia digital.
