Abstract

This Dossier aims to stimulate debate on the social profile, economic structure, and environmental landscape of Brazil today, using the 2022 Demographic Census as a reference. The articles collected here form a research agenda centered on the production of indicators, the measurement of complex social phenomena, and the strengthening of government capacities for the formulation, monitoring, and evaluation of public policies.
