Abstract

From researches conducted at the Zona da Mata region in the state of Minas Gerais, this work attempt to build an approach to the reach and describe moral pragmatics. This moral pragmatics allows building and managing, across daily life events, multi-sited family and kinship networks or collectives distributed across small towns and hamlets in the region as well as in middle sized and large urban centers in the Brazilian Southeast, especially in the metropolitan areas of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The work focuses the dynamics of daily conversations that enable those who are part of these confi gurations to know, judge and place themselves concerning the many kinds of mobilities that constitute such a way of life.
