Abstract
Introduction: This is an analytical record of the relationship between the University Administration and the notion of autonomy of the Teaching and Research Units and with the UNICAMP Bodies. Objective: To analyze this relationship, focusing on the internal boundaries of the University and those derived from the autonomy of these places, which, by virtue of Law 14133, are under debate; I demand adjustments so that these relationships can be reorganized, expanding the autonomy of the places and even strengthening the autonomy of UNICAMP before the State. Methodology: It takes the territory used as a category of analysis and action research as a means of empiricizing the theoretical-practical experience that is developed by listening to the professionals involved with the issue and with the responsibility of deciding and moving forward, analyzing the results in the use of geographic space. Results: The analysis identifies non-proactive examples resulting from the boundaries of autonomy and that needed to be overcome so that the Administration could resolve, for example, the lighting of the Hospital parking lot. It is also observed, as a consequence of the strategy adopted by UNICAMP to implement Law 14133, that new services are being created and others are being incorporated into the University Administration. Conclusion: In order to guarantee the sustainable use of space and the sovereignty of the university's places and territory, the analysis points to the need for greater participation and complementarity between the work activities of the Administration and the activities of the Units and Agencies.
