Abstract
This guide, prepared by the GeSEC team, presents a five-step roadmap for assigning a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to scientific articles by publishers, using version 3.4.0.8 of the OJS (Open Journal Systems) system. The DOI is essential to ensure the persistent identification and tracking of academic publications.
