Abstract

The "Publishing Guide (RDBCI)" was prepared by librarian Gildenir Carolino Santos in the 2025 version 1 with the main objective of standardizing the editing and publishing process of the Digital Journal of Library and Information Science (RDBCI)2. The guide also aims to share editorial activities so that the publishing model can be applied to other publications3. The document details the elements that make up an article in the RDBCI, providing specific formatting and editing instructions for each section4. Among the topics covered are: Header5; Section6; Title7; ORCID Identification8; Abstract and Keywords9; CRediT10; Additional Information11; Text and Subsections 12121212; and Illustrations13. The guide serves as a practical manual for editors, interns, and scholarship holders involved in the RDBCI publishing process.
