Abstract
This document presents the guidelines for aligning journals with Open Science and the mandatory Editorial Development Plan (EDP) starting in 2026. Technically, it establishes that the entire editorial workflow must be managed via OJS or ScholarOne, prohibiting submissions via email to ensure traceability. The guide details operational pillars such as open peer review (in hybrid or transparent models), the mandatory adoption of continuous publication, and the acceptance of preprints. It also requires the deposit of raw data in reliable repositories and the use of similarity software to ensure ethical integrity (COPE/CSE standards). The EDP is consolidated as an annual strategic management tool, structured into situational diagnoses and short-to-long-term goals to achieve indexing in international databases such as Web of Science and Scopus.
