Resumo

O artigo investiga a cópia analítica no modernismo soviético tardio, recuperando as ideias de Pavel Filonov (“arte analítica”) e Kozma Petrov-Vodkin (“ciência da visão”). Na Leningrado das décadas de 1970–80, artistas reimaginaram a cópia como forma de leitura estrutural da pintura clássica. Essa prática contestava a estética oficial soviética, mantinha-se independente das exigências acadêmicas contemporâneas e reativava métodos das vanguardas como modo de pensar e ver criticamente a tradição.
