Abstract
À medida que as pesquisas em História da Arte se tornam mais interdisciplinares, é essencial revisitarmos períodos e objetos sob novas metodologias. Nesse contexto, a comunicação proposta para o evento investiga as conexões e transferências na bacia do Mediterrâneo medieval. Objetos circulavam de diversas formas — presentes diplomáticos, comércio, saques e migrações — e, em cada local, podiam ser reapropriados, adquirindo novos significados. A pesquisa foca no reuso de elementos islâmicos no contexto europeu cristão, analisando objetos que testemunham sua adaptação ao cotidiano de cidades italianas medievais.
