Fundos de pasto: territoriality and common use

Abstract

This paper approaches the dynamics organizations that have achieved for social agents that self-identifi cation by the expression "fundos de pasto". They have been consolidation themselves through forms of articulation and struggle to ensure the use and the ownership of "traditional occupied lands". For that, they do actions to challenge the political-administrative rules and the conventional manner of organizing and presenting demands from recognition and landed regularization to public powers. I will analyze the relationship between the collective territorialization process and social agents’ specific territorialities.
