Abstract
The text is an excerpt from an interview with Leonilde Medeiros, Sérgio Sauer, Regina Coelly Saraiva and Clea Nice Porto, who made up the group most actively linked to the actions and initiatives of the Camponesa da Verdade Commission (CCV) since its creation in 2012. The interview explores a little of the memory of the work carried out by the CCV, as well as allows us to see the contributions made by the group to the more general debate on repression in the Brazilian countryside, in addition to the limits of the dialogue held with the National Truth Commission (CNV) and some divergences of understanding about what would have been the dictatorship in the Brazilian rural areas.
