Abstract

This article seeks to explore the notion of content secondaryization, highlighting the limitations of the psychoanalytic approach to aesthetics explored by Sigmund Freud when analyzing and understanding the artist's creative impulse. In this context, the Kleinian approach is recognized for its ability to explore this territory, linking the formal aspects that define it with the element of memory as both a practical and theoretical tool. In this way, a bridge is established between the two domains, allowing for an exploration focused on understanding the motives behind the creative impulse and independent of the specificities of the resulting content.
